Organisation Structure

Nectar Group is organised by field of operation, relative to the demands, type, scope and interlinking of tasks. In this way work is performed professionally, efficiently and rationally, assignments are carried out in a coordinated way, there is effective internal control of the performance of tasks, and administrative and professional tasks are performed effectively, economically and efficiently. Accordingly, the current macro organisation structure at Nectar Group may be illustrated as follows:

Charles Abela is the Chairman and CEO of Nectar Group and is mainly responsible for business development and corporate strategy. Roderick Abela and Mario Abela are directors with executive responsibilities for Sales Strategy & IT and Logistics respectively. Karl J. Gambin is the Financial Controller and is responsible for the financing of operations. Mark Bugeja is the Human Resources and Quality Assurance Manager and is responsible for quality assurance throughout all business operations. Andrea Agius is Group Sales and Marketing Manager assisted by Martin Vella and Mario Attard in the vests of Nectar's and Sweetsource's Retail Divisions Sales Managers respectively. Jason Calleja and Dusty Tabone assist Martin while Chris Spiteri assists Mario. This team is responsible for sales throughout the various food outlets across Malta and Gozo. Ronald Camilleri as Warehouse Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery services the Group offers.
In total the group employs over 75 employees in its various departments.
